At Grassroots Education, we have a team of experts with diverse backgrounds in education, sustainability, and project management. Our vision is supported by the 17 United Nations objectives for sustainable development, which we strive to incorporate in all our fields of activity, and we adhere to the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of Romania 2030.
VALUES
WE BELIEVE THAT:

Education for sustainable development (ESD) should be widely disseminated in all communities and become a mandatory part of school curricula. We aim to lobby for ESD and educate tomorrow’s generation of STEAM specialists (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics) in our communities, so that sustainability becomes a top priority for everyone in the community and is embedded in all activities and projects.

Social change requires a participatory approach. We aim to engage our local communities through education, sports and arts participation in finding solutions to current problems in the community. We strive to engage people from all walks of life in lifelong learning, be it through formal, informal or non-formal means with a view of building knowledgeable, empowered, sustainable and resilient communities that can contribute to identifying and addressing societal issues happening in the community.
